About Me

I'm born in Belgium from a Belgian Mother and an English Father. Quiet life, met some nice people, have the best friends in the world. I love music.
I study electro-mechanical engineering and hope I'll have a chance to study jazz music at a conservatory afterwards.
I love travelling and discovering new places!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I went on my first backpack trip on july 2015 and it put a mark on me. A maI don't want to get rid off. Ever since I bought a world map and started planning every country I'd like to "meet" (Because you don't visit a country. When you visit, you're only posting photos on social network. When you meet a country, you get something more).
I've heard of couchsurfing through some friends that could only tell me how positive their experiences were and it that way you're sure to meet the country rather than just visit it.

Interests

There's not many things I dislike in life. I think I can say about myself that I like to discover new things!
I'm kean on music, any kind as long as it get my feet beating along the rhythm. Music moves me like nothing else. Jazz, Classic, Pop, Metal, Indie, Punk, Reaggae, Roots, Rock'N'Roll, Dub, Funk, Soul... Well, you get it, I'd listen to anything that is good music :D
I love watching movies too but on that one I'm more picky. I don't really like action movies. To be totally honest, I like fantastic movies along with sci-fi, stuff that make me dream a little!

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really have A FAVORITE in anything but I can give you some stuff I dig, so you'd have a better idea of who-I-am :
The best movies I have seen are Ladykillers by the Cohen Brothers, Edward Scissorhands by Tim Burton, The Sparks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, then Django Unchained and Reservoir Dogs by Quentin Tarantino.
Regarding music the list would be way too long but here's a few tops from my Itunes :) Black Dog by Led Zeppelin, Come Rain or Come Shine by Ray Charles, Criminal by Eminem, Any of the "Nocturnes" by Chopin and Dancing in The Moonlight by Alt-J
And regarding the books, I have a favorite one : Huis-Clos by Jean-Paul Sartres

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know what people can call "Amazing" but one thing I'm proud of is jumping off a 12-meters-cliff.
I was scared to death and shaking like a leaf, had that feeling when you repeat to yourself "IamgoingtodieIamgoingtodieIamgoingtodie" etc..
And at that moment, my friend looked at me and said "4 letters : Y.O.L.O" (as "You Only Live Once".) As cliche as it sounds, it worked and I jumped. Landed in the water and on my ass. It hurt. Had my ass red, as a lobster.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Jokes, if they like crappy ones.
Wine, if they drink.
Beers, if they don't like wine.
Food, if they don't drink.
Laughter, if they're having a bad day.
Silence and Respect, if they're having a really bad day.

Friendship, if they want.
