About Me

Hey Surfers!

I am a very open minded guy, can get along with almost anyone, and I am very respectful of people's space and house rules. I really like meeting new people and hearing their stories, like many of you do, I would imagine. I teach English online (so I may have to work while staying with you) but traveling and entertaining people is really my passion. I just started pursuing a career as a travel journalist/blogger and am producing my first travel webseries called The Nomad Log on youtube.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard so many awesome things about this community. As a traveler I like to learn about the real story of a place. I love getting local recommendations and having a cool place to stay.

One day, when I find a husband and settle down, I plan to return the favor and open my home to surfers as well. Good travel karma.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan (House Ravenclaw)
I love all types of movies except horror.
I enjoy all types of music but I love R&B, soul, gospel, jazz, neo-soul, things like that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wrote, recorded and self produced an indie R&B/Soul album, all in Japanese. It sold like 500 copies and for a time I was seriously trying to be a J-pop singer!

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing is caring. I will be happy to help you with English, teach you Japanese, sing songs with you, whatever. I am open to learning most anything. So if you have a really great dish you can make, or you play guitar, or do yoga, I'm willing to learn! Sharing is how humans grow.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll be happy to cook a meal or help clean up. My grandmother always said, never go to someone's house empty handed and always leave it better than you found it. I love to make people laugh and I have been told I tell very entertaining stories. Let's share some.

Countries I’ve Visited
