ABOUT ME

We're adventurous, self-sufficient, experienced travelers with a great sense of humor who enjoy meeting new people.

Between us, Damon is almost fluent in Spanish and Laurie is proficient in conversational Spanish and getting better every day.

We are eager for the opportunity to crew on short or long sailing ventures. Additionally, we have many skills to contribute to local, land-based businesses, including:
- bar and restaurant management;
- farming and livestock experience;
- mechanical, electrical, carpentry and boating experience;
- house-sitting and landlord experience;
- cooking experience (non-commercial);
- non-profit experience;
- and, marketing experience (both online and offline).

Personally, Damon and Laurie enjoy reading, playing cards, and meeting new people (and dogs). Damon enjoys making electronic music and has been happy to play in many clubs in Texas with his band, Rage Ranger. Laurie enjoys writing, cooking, and of course, planning the next place to travel!
