I like meeting people and discovering new places. I grew up in France and lived in England for 25 years (Brighton & Lewes/East Sussex). Whilst living there from 1979 to 2004 I met a lot of artists and organised some cultural events... for francophiles who enjoyed my regular conversation meetings to help them develop their interests in French literature & cinema. I now live in Brittany which is a great place for people wanting to explore Northern France... it offers many opportunities for outdoor activities especially for those who like bike rides & hiking by the sea !

I now have more freedom to travel and want to be able to meet local people wherever I go so Couchsurfing should be a nice way to meet people who share similar interests and can help me discover their surroundings and share recommendations for places & local customs as well as food... etc

I like all kinds of music... Rock/Folk/Jazz/Blues/Chanson française
At the moment favourite bands are Girls from Hawaï / Leila & The Koalas / Dido
And I've been listening to Bob Marley again - KAYA also French composers/songwritters like Arthur H. and Lou Doillon whose last album is just great !

Films are too many to list them but I'll give her 6 I consider to be masterpieces of Cinema

Going to the U.S.A in 1978 with Freddy Laker Airways flying from London and landing in NewYork... seeing the skycrapers for the first time and feeling so small... then coming back to London and feeling so much at home in Europe even though I lived in France at the time !
