Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because it's the closest thing to a coincidental run-in-with-strangers adventure that the internet has to offer. I think it helps affirm the kindness of strangers and makes travel more accessible. Under the best of circumstances, it can also expose you to the lifestyle of your host, revealing some of the day-to-day details that make urban life what it is. And I think that is just neat, you know?

hmmm.. one time I hitchhiked From Subdury ON, to Prince Rupert, BC and back... that was pretty exciting.
