Hostels and hotels leave too much space for people to remain anonymous. I want to get to know the people of the country Im staying in. But really know them, not just their profile.
Couchsurfing skips anonymity, and gets straight to whats real, its a much cooler way to travel because you're not paying and you're not entitled!

I love to read! Im passionate about European history and could spend hours reading in depth accounts of Renaissance, Cold War Europe, WW2, witchhunts and the Reformation; among other things. I love to run cycle swim pingpong and play football. My brothers and I used to compete for hours as kids.
