About Me

I am full of contrasts:
I would consider myself rather friendly and outgoing, but at the same time, I cherish my lone time.
Coming from Israel, I appreciate a great sense of humour, but I can be serious when necessary.
I love interacting with people: Talking, yet listening when required.
I feel like I have a lot to share, yet I am still young and there is so much of the unknown I want to discover.
I love my roots, but I am also highly curious about the big world. I live for traveling, and hopefully, in the future, I will be able to travel for living. When I travel, I TRAVEL BIG.
I am always down with meeting new people, all over the world. I am a very tolerant person, and I will happily hear any opinion in the world, as long as it is presented respectfully.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always been eager to learn about other cultures and widen my horizons.
I believe that Couchsurfing is the ultimate experience to do so! Traveling from a POV of a local is my best way to achieve my goal. It's a great opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and add some adventures to my résumé, and thus discover more layers in me.

Interests

I love learning about other countries, their history, culture, languages and traditions. I am open minded to hear about all of them.
I'm a geography freak- I know almost every country's capital, including its' flag and sometimes even the shape of the territory.
I'm really into languages - I speak two fluently: Hebrew and English.
I understand basic German and Modern Standard Arabic very well. I also enjoy studying Spanish at the moment.
My wish is to become polyglot! I'm a huge grammar and syntax geek.

I love swimming: I used to swim for many years.
I've been playing the piano for more than 10 years; classical music is definitely my style! Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven, Chopin and so many more! I find my inner serenity when I play the piano.

There is so much more of me that it's so hard to sum it all up in here!

  • classical music
  • piano
  • geography
  • languages
  • language exchange
  • geek
  • arabic
  • scandinavia
  • international food

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I don’t discriminate! That means, if it's nice to my ears, then it's all good! I love reading and I've read all 3 notable books of Vikas Swarup: Q & A, Six Suspects and The Accidental Apprentice. TV Shows - La Casa de Papel , Orange Is The New Black, Game of Thrones, Masters of Sex, South Park, Modern Family, Jane the Virgin, Sense8

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many but if I have to pick a few:
- Took a helicopter flight over the Niagara Falls.

- SKYDIVING ABOVE THE PALM ISLAND IN
DUBAI!!!!!!!!!!

- I volunteered in the Faroe Islands for 3.5 weeks.

- I participated in a famous quiz show on TV.
Sounds nerdy- but that's something that had always been on my bucket list!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share my personal life-stories, and be 100% committed to the adventure I embark on: towards the host and the environment. I am very polite and clean.
