Overview
About Me
I am an English teacher living in Malden, Massachusetts. I teach 10th grade english in a public school.
Last year I lived in Kerala, India. I moved there for a year to explore and learn as well as teach.
So far I've seen quite a bit of the country - New Delhi, Goa, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, and many parts of Kerala. I loved meeting new people and my rule when I moved there was to say yes to any opportunity.
I like to play guitar, listen to music, read books, discuss movies...drink beers, camp...basically anything that keeps me active. Teach me something!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people and of course to save money and to help others save money on travel. I started couch surfing with a friend of mine back in the states. We didn't know much about it but ended up having a great time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I survived a week in New Delhi on my own. It was the most insane week of my life. I met a lot of great people, spent a lot of money I shouldn't have, and lost my new camera in the back of a rickshaw. So you'll have to take my word for it.
Teach, Learn, Share
It would be nice if someone could help me learn some more Hindi. I'd like to know when I'm being ripped off.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We have:
2 couches, 1 full bathroom.
We are about a 10 minute walk from the orange line of the T (the subway).
I don't work weekends or summers - so my availability is good.
We live in a quiet neighborhood in Malden close to Malden center. Not too much going on in terms of nightlife but Boston is very close by. You can get there in twenty minutes by train or 15 by car (Uber & taxi).
