Overview
About Me
I’m constantly yearning for “new,” “different,” “exciting”and the things that give me the most back tend to be new experiences and stimulating conversations with) people. I especially enjoy when common threads are found across vast differences. Recently learned about Couchsurfing from a cousin and hearing his experiences with this community blew my mind - sounds like exactly what I’ve been wanting without knowing it was out there.
I usually think too much and don’t take enough action, but I’m working on that. I’ve lived in Western New York State all but one year of my life (Denver, CO jn 2015) and am burning to explore more of the world and its people. I work at a bank and recently started a podcast about learning from people lit up with passion for a topic. I’d like to live more in line with the podcast than the bank work, and traveling thru CS feels like a major step that way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The stories I’ve heard from a CS relative about what he’s experienced through this.
I have experiential wanderlust. I want to explore the world, more than just geographically. I want to meet open-minded people and share connections that light up more of our worlds than were lit before.
I haven’t traveled enough, and when I have, I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface of the places I’ve been. I want to know their depths, through the people who live in them, and feel them, day to day.
