Overall, I am happy: the product of a balance of Work and Life, I feel the thing that maintains this bliss are connections with real people. you will find a desire for honest communication, and mutual respect. I don't avoid the truth; rather, I am considerate of all involved, and will work to ensure that those I interact with are treated with the utmost in fairness.

I love experiencing all that Life has to offer: Nature, Sun, fresh Air, exercise, a relaxing walk. I like the Arts, movies, music of all kinds, theatre, and International Cuisine.

Meeting new people: important to keep friends, but add new people to your Life, so you can understand who lives in the World you inhabit. Having many friends adds considerably to the richness of life.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to listen to, and empathetic of all I meet, so I may treat them as I wish to be treated.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I am mainly Surfing. But I will host when I am more stable.

I meet many nice people that add to the tapestry of Life and renew a positive opinion of people in general.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately, I am surfing now, due to a Marketing Director and living arrangement falling through. I hope to Surf for a bit, learn about other people, relax a bit, and get more faith in Humanity by finding considerate people who can show me another side of humanity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some amazing things I have done and seen center around the Medical field, and helping people.

Providing care for those with anything from Chronic Medical condition, Dementia to those on Hospice, it is rewarding to provide care for those who need it.

Teach, Learn, Share

What inspires me is learning about our World, and the hows and whys of the events that shape our Lives. For current events, I listen to NPR, CNN International, BBC World news, and for perspective, TDS and Colbert Report. Recently, Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey has my attention, and is one of my favorite shows.

I like Non-fiction, and tend to study science, social science, and financial matters. Last few books were Malcolm Gladwells: Tipping Point, Blink, Outliers, Kevin Phillips Bad Money, and Martin Kihns Asshole: How I Got Rich...

I generally try to study, learn, and gain a perspective that allows me an educated grasp of the important events in our Lives; this way, I can understand, appreciate, and function better with all I encounter.

I like to give information to those i encounter, so they may have a better quality of life; be it hard facts, or emotional support, I find the world is much better when people help one another, and are not dead-set to zero-sum everyone for everything in Life.

Finally, as you can tell, I try to be understood, and hope that what I say is interesting and is the beginning of an exchange of ideas that allow me to both understand and enjoy those I share thoughts with.
