I'm a 29 year old Law Student living between school (Kamloops) and home (Vernon BC). I graduated from UBC with a Bachelors degree in 2011. Upon graduating I took a year off with my girlfriend (Britney Powell - look her up on here and add her too!) to travel around the world for a year!

Together we saw numerous countries in Africa, Asia, and the Americas. It was a great experience and the first time either of us was exposed to Couchsurfing. We even randomly did a safari with two people filming an ad for the website!

I love to travel and am always looking for good deals to escape the day to day and go somewhere new. Since our round the world adventure, Brit and I have gone on a few smaller trips ranging from a few days to a month. Iceland, Cuba and Boston have been our recent excursions.

I was exposed to it while traveling and had great experiences staying with others while on the road. It really allowed us to see a different side of the places we were staying rather than doing and seeing the more routine "tourist" things.

Now we're both home and have a spare room we'd like to try to give some of those types of experiences to other travelers coming through our part of the world!
