I'm an ex military kid so I've moved all over the world until about 6 years ago when my dad retired. Six years is a long time to be in the same place if all you've grown up with is constantly moving so I upped and left to work on an american summer camp in 2014, loved it so much I came back in 2015 before departing to Melbourne Australia. I guess my sense of adventure is flaring up as all I can think about doing at any given point in the day is where to go next. I'm a very relaxed kind of guy who takes it one step at a time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to see the culture of places I visit from a non tourist perspective. I've spent far too long working for big establishments in big cities and I feel that I need to see something new. A new way to live life I think, and I'm hoping that by meeting people here I can learn something about the world and everyone in it, especially myself.
I guess I'm also just looking to make some great memories of my travels with interesting people.

Interests

I'm very creative so most of the time at home you can find me at my sewing machine or out in the wilderness walking the dog. I'm a massive thrill seeker so any theme parks any other crazy outdoor activities are all good.
One thing I have always wanted to do but never had the willpower to stick with is how to play guitar, so anyone who might be able to help me with that is a gem.
