Overview
About Me
I practice mindfulness and empathy. Low carbon footprint. Love for Pachamama, Mother Earth. I value kindness, compassion and authenticity. Not big on clubs or parties, I prefer quiet conversation or wandering the streets acting like kids. Friends say I'm a good listener. I look for those magical moments of feeling connected to the universe. Sometimes it's as simple as gazing up at the moon and noticing its shape and brightness. Or taking a deep breath in the middle of a crowd. I'm a strange combination of silly and spiritual. Gonzo is my spirit animal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of my top motivations for traveling is to get away from the mass consumerism of the US. I am coming to Guatemala looking for an organic farm to work on. While I am here I would like to explore and see the beauty of this country, taste its flavors, and learn as much Spanish as I can!
Interests
These days I am most excited about learning how to create a positive impact on the world. One voice, one choice can spark a movement toward greater harmony in all things. How to bring spiritual experiences of deep peace out into the world to benefit the next generation? In the midst of all this idealism my passion for exploration is just beginning to show. This is a long time dream. Guatemala excites me with her vibrant colors and flavors.
