Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm about to spend two weeks traveling in France. I enjoy speaking French and would like to interact with local people as much as possible.

Interests

I'm really into literature and the arts. I write poetry, fiction, and songs. I play the guitar and violin, as well as singing.

Since moving to Colorado, I have enjoyed lots of hiking and skiing. The beauty of nature inspires me. I also love to play tennis.

I like to volunteer, and I'm into philosophy and good conversation. Obviously, I enjoy traveling and experiencing other cultures, hence the Couch Surfing!

These are some of my favorite things in life, so a well-thought-out list is beyond the scope of this little website box. I'll list a few of the first things in each category that come into my head.

Music: Beatles, Sting, Neil Finn, Laurent Voulzy, Michel Berger, Carla Bruni, Francis Cabrel. And of course composers like Beethoven, Mozart, Brahms, Dvorak, and Rachmaninoff.

Movies: Groundhog Day, Paris, Intouchables, Memento, Terminator I and II, Kramer vs. Kramer, Midnight in Paris.

Books: Anna Karenina, Howards End, Henderson the Rain King, Don Quixote, the Enchiridion.
