About Me
I'm a young man with profound wanderlust and a commitment to peace. Among many things I'm an activist, a hiker, a backpacker, an outdoors enthusiast, a spiritualist, a writer, an explorer, and an adventurer.
I find great joy in connecting with different people all over the world and hearing their stories. It's my strong belief that we are all here to connect with one another and to explore this big, beautiful planet that we have the blessing of inhabiting. I approach all peoples, places, and situations with an open mind to the best of my ability. I believe that all people have basic goodness, kindness, and love regardless of their race, religion, personal background, or political affiliation. All people have something to share and to offer. I am a willing student.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I love to travel, but even moreso I love connecting with locals while doing so. I could stay in hotels, but I would much rather meet the people of a place and get to know them personally. I would be lying if I said that the affordability isn't also a factor as well, I'm a budget traveler for sure.
Mostly, though, I consider couchsurfing to be a tremendous opportunity to make friends and truly connect with a place on a personal level. I have friends all over the world at this point and I think that's one of the best parts of traveling. I've couchsurfed many times outside the official couchsurfing website and those relationships and experiences are the ones I remember- much moreso than the sights and scenery. Meeting people is the real reason I travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently spent time living at a prayerful resistance camp at Standing Rock. There was a pipeline being built through Native Land of the Great Sioux Nation. Thus, the Sioux put out the call for support in resisting this unlawful case of exploitation and oppression. Thus, we camped there and engaged in community building, shared learning, teaching, and activism. This was among the most beautiful, challenging, and inspiring experiences in my life and I love to share what I experienced and what I've learned to anyone willing to listen.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a very spiritual person and have engaged deeply with yoga, meditation, and other spiritual practices. I draw from a diverse array of spiritual disciplines and am always looking to learn more as well as share what I have learned.
In addition, I love those deep, profound conversations. You know- the ones about the mysteries of life as well as the unique challenges we face both individually and collectively.
If you're not ocmfortable with that I'm equally passionate about talking about new places to explore, adventurous stories, and to compare ntoes about the merits of travel and the tools a tricks to do so effectively.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a helping hand with anything you need: cleaning, cooking, etc.. I love to be of service and would be grateful for the opportunity to improve your life in any way. I believe we exist to serve and iumprove the lifes of one another, so don't hesitate to ask for help with anything.
Beyond that, I've found that I live a lifestyle that is profoundly different than that of most people. I've had very interesting life experiences that many haven't even heard of. Perhaps in the couchsurfing scene my wild lifestyle is much more the norm- but nonetheless I would love to share anything I know about travel, activism, spirituality, and living a life of unimpeded freedom.
I've got stories to share, all you need to do is ask!
