I want to stay outside my comfort zone, enjoy my stay, seize the day, meet cool people, and return to Germany with priceless experiences!

ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing nice person, very friendly and always in a good mood. I love learning about new cultures and doing music, which I consider my number one passion. I play 4 instruments and produce music, write songs, perform here and there, and still get a huge kick out of it (despite the long nights) - it is my voice.

While I went to college (Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz and University of Wisconsin-Madison) I worked for a sales company in the oil and gas industry, where I still am as a sales coordinator and project manager; aside from that I assist professors with editing and translations, I write short fiction and poetry whenever there is time, and every now and then I get involved in marketing (logo design, consultation).

What else? I'm an outdoor person, love hiking and mountaineering, do survival training, I run, swim, work out, camp out, I'm not far away from anything that's fun...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I've done CouchSurfing was in 2012, great experience and by now close friends (first host was a musician as well, we even ended up composing and arranging a song together a couple of years later). It's just cool not to know what's going to happen next, that's exploring, that's the adventure. Looking forward to the "unknown" so to speak!

Interests

I am interested in music, history, economy, art, I love to travel and pick up new things from all around the world. While I'm often perceived as a business man, consider me always an artist first :) I want to get creative and am always looking for inspiration - and most of that comes from traveling and encountering new cultures and ways of living/thinking. In that sense I'm cosmopolitan, a citizen of the world.
