Hello! My name is Dan and I'm currently finishing my last semester at Juniata College. I study International Studies with a secondary emphasis in German. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing primarily because I enjoy traveling and meeting new people. Honestly, it's a bit scary at first, especially when there are language barriers, but in the end, I think traveling is one of the best things you can do while young.

I listen to pretty much anything except for country music. I am more than willing to listen to new things as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't really done anything that I'd consider amazing but I feel that simply taking advantage of my home university's study abroad program to be here should go on the list.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't really have much to teach, but I love learning about different cultures and sharing stories from throughout my life. As I listed in my "About Me" section, I study International Studies and feel that seeing as much of the world as possible will greatly benefit me in the long run, not only with a future career, but also as a person.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy talking about languages and various cultural experiences. I am more than willing to learn simple phrases if English is not the language you normally speak in your home. I am also willing to try new things with my hosts if they invite me to do so.
