About Me
I travel a lot...for an American :)
I am a very easy-going and agreeable guy who enjoys meeting interesting people of all walks of life.
I love working on things that make the world a better place. I've worked for an education nonprofit for large, urban school districts, and now I write software for a big tech company.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel, I prefer getting a more local perspective and meeting interesting people, vs. staying in a hotel.
I've actually never stayed with a host, but in previous travels I've found good friends through Couchsurfing meetups.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been on a TV show - check it out here (I'm on the far right at the beginning): https://youtu.be/sE5eye0eiYA
At the end of this year, I'll have been to 44 countries :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've traveled to a lot of places (though not very long for many of them) and am always happy to swap travel stories!
Music - not professionally, but if you like to "jam" informally, I am happy to participate. I play some guitar and piano, and am a decent singer.
Good conversation, positive energy, and genuine interest.
