CURRENT MISSION

I am a 24 year old college graduate eager to meet new people and explore new places. I love playing and listening to music, traveling, and taking chances. I plan to bring my adventurous spirit wherever my travels may take me!

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in a small town in the Northshore of Boston, MA. After years of hard work studying and working professionally, ups and downs, and constant struggle to discover a sense of meaning and fulfillment in life, I believe the answer to my questions may lie dropping everything and traveling the world. Even if I return from my worldly travels with no answers to my questions, no cash to spend, or plans for my future, at least I will have one hell of a story to tell. I am quite possibly one of the friendliest people you've ever met. As I mentioned before, I love meeting new people and hearing all about your life stories and am always open to suggestions for cheap travel.

To add to this, I have to come to realize just how infinitesimally short our life on this planet truly is. I believe that during this brief period, we would be cheating ourselves if we didn't recognize that which makes us most happy, that which we most love and cherish, and that which drives and motivates us, and then do everything we can to act on this realization. Life is too short to be anything except happy! Love your family and friends, work for your own happiness and not just for money, and try to live a life in which the world is left a better place for your being there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

From mid-July to mid-August 2012, I will be working on a farm in the Marche region of Italy, staying with a host family I met through workaway.info website (which I highly recommend!) For the following month or so, I plan to travel all throughout Western Europe, very much on a shoestring budget. I have found the CouchSurfing community to be perfectly tailored to my goals and limitations for travel: meeting as many new people as possible while simultaneously keeping a close eye on my budget. Upon my return home in the fall, I would be happy to return the favor to anyone hoping to see Boston and needing accommodations along the way.
