Movies: Enter the Void, Science of Sleep, Tarantino (of course), anything Shane Meadows is involved in. We Need to Talk about Kevin. Kubrick. Wes Anderson. Loads more.

Music: Reggae, Dub, Dubstep (older stuff, DMZ for example), Techno (think Swamp 81), House (think Numbers Recordings), Post Rock, Jazz, Blues, Trip Hop (DJ SHADOW). Anything on Hyperdub, notably Burial.
