I used to lead community programs at Google for 13 years. Now I'm doing management and community consultancy and aerial fine art photography as a side project (you can check www.danielfranc.art). I have travelled to and worked in quite a few places around the world. Every other week, I have fun at home with my 15 year old son and you may meet him during your stay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

No requirements of us having to do stuff together; if our time/space matches, we may hang out, but let's see. I prefer guests with some verification + reference(s).

I simply like to be able help travellers wanting to see the country from the inside/with an insight and possibly with tight budgets to stay. Also it's a refreshing way for me to meet people with various mindsets and life stories. And since I'm not business travelling any longer, it's a way for me to have the world travel to me, yay!
