About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT US

My wife Cindy and are very young at heart and we love to travel and experience new things. We will try just about anything once and love to become truly immersed in the country or place that we are in at the moment.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the fullest. Buy experiences not things. And treat everyone with the respect you would want.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We hosted several people while we could during our corporate life and loved the experience and now that we are pretty much nomadic we look forward to meeting some locals and experience local life and making more friends across the world. After all the best part of traveling is making and meeting local friends!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some of the best people that I met while traveling where a part of the Couchsurfing community and I look forward to making even more friends!

Interests

We like to be as active and adventurous as possible. We are always down for beer/wine and food but have really toned down the party scene.

Photography, hiking, cooking, working out and visiting different parts of the world are our biggest hobbies.

When traveling we like to see the main tourist attractions but also really, really, really love to see the true culture, off the beaten path.

Music, Movies, and Books

Independent movies, and any movie where you can't guess the ending after 5 minutes.

We enjoy pretty much all music, lately, we have been more into Lo-Fi, house, electronic and indie. We always try to make a playlist of local music for each country we visit. If you've got suggestions, we'd love to add them!

We always try to read at least one book on the region we are visiting while we are there. Nothing like being fully-immersed in our learning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experiences I had was trekking to Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal with my now wife. We actually met in a 16 bed hostel room in Kuala Lumpur just a few weeks before the trek!

Also when I lived with the Bedouin in the Jordanian desert for 3 days and walked on the great pyramids of Giza...

Teach, Learn, Share

We value meeting anyone that has a good vibes and positive energy. Everyone is more knowledgeable than us in something! We are students for life and love learning from the people we meet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We hope to be the best host that we can be. Similarly, we are clean, respectful and enthusiastic couchsurfers. The golden rule: Treat those as you would want to be treated.
