About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to build a community of mutual respect
ABOUT ME
I am a recent graduate from Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina, USA. Although I am no longer a student, I will always enjoy learning new things through new experiences and new friends. I am community minded, and my friends and family are the most important thing in my life. I try to always approach problems from many different perspectives, and to always critically question social norms and imperatives. I am an anti-racist, anti-sexist, queer advocate, and advocate for victims of sexual violence. I attempt to actively work against oppressive institutional structures within my community, such as racism, sexism and classism.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that the modern society is not living up to its true potential, but through building a commuity based on mutual respect we can one day see our society become something everyone can live in equally and haappily.
Interests
I enjoy playing and listening to music. I have played guitar and bass guitar for 6 years, and find that it is a great way to meet and connect with new people. I also really enjoy reading and discussing political and critical philosophy.
