Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had some great times in hostels but find the best experiences have been when staying with local friends. Couch surfing seems to be based on this philosophy and I have only heard great things about it

Interests

Work can be all consuming at times but when I do get a weekend off I like to get away. Anything active is a great relief with hiking, camping, riding, fishing and time at the beach some of my favourites . I'm fortunate to live in a great wine region so that takes up a good amount of time too. Any holidays see me booking a ticket overseas to explore a new culture
