ABOUT ME
I live in the moment. I do ridiculous things to see what will happen. I love meeting different people and trying to see things from their perspective and understand why they are the way that they are. I'm into sports--I used to play college football before giving that up in order to pursue other passions (including travel).
It's really hard for me to try to describe myself because I feel that I am constantly changing and growing as a person. I'm about to take some time off of school to travel so I spend a lot of time planning that and getting ready...really excited for this next adventure!
PHILOSOPHY
I love quotes, so here are a few that I try to live by:
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” -Mark Twain
"If you want to be remembered forever, either do things worth writing or write things worth reading." -Ben Franklin
"Action expresses priorities." -Gandhi
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It seems like we always have someone (usually a roommate's friend) living on our couch: future Olympic bobsledders, computer programmers taking a semester off from school, or a wrestler who just got back from Thailand. Too many stories to count.
Interests
Hole-in-the-wall places where you can get an amazing meal for $5. Football (American). Sitting around and talking about life. Going on adventures. Tango. Entrepreneurship. Learning languages. Travel (obvi). Making movies. Lucid dreams.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many--here's a small sampling:
Friday Night Lights, Inception, Shawshank Redemption, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, pretty much any type of music--going through a little bit of a country and indie phase right now, The Giving Tree, The Old Man and the Sea, Way of the Peaceful Warrior, Into the Wild, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
If I could describe it in a few sentences here, it really wouldn't be that amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I LOVE to learn new languages and would be happy to help teach the ones I know. I play the cello. Basic movie-making skills with iMovie. I cook a little bit and know the best places to get a great cheap meal in the cities that I've lived.
