Overview
About Me
I am an Australian with a background in radio broadcasting and language education. I lived in China for 10 years where I worked in broadcast media but mostly in teaching (journalism and English) and training management. I have travelled to many places in China and experienced a lot of amazing stuff. I speak Mandarin at about an upper intermediate level and have a strong interest in traditional Chinese culture - particularly tai chi, but also tea culture and Chinese medicine, etc. I left Shanghai in 2014 since then I have been pretty nomadic, and writing a first book.
Philosophy: 易恒
It's nice to collect things but it's better to go on walks." Anonymous (I read this in an interesting book called 'Songlines' many years ago).
