Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel around East and South-East Asia on as low a budget as manageable!
ABOUT ME
I've lived in the UK for two years now, studying for a BA in French and Russian after moving over from Spain. I like having a good time, and have a passion for living on the edge, always pushing my limits! I never forget a face, and am quite happy to meet strangers - my main objective is to travel as much as possible and see as much as I can manage!
PHILOSOPHY
I like to live on the edge, but always knowing my limits - anyone who knows me could say that I'm always well aware of the danger factor in anything I do, and will never let myself do something foolhardy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've not yet used CouchSurfing all that much, although I guess, that, along with the rest of the CouchSurfing community, I try and link-up with people around the globe, get to know them and live with them for a while, and then move on and do it all over again somewhere else.

Music, Movies, and Books
Recently, anything by E.S.Posthumus will please me - however, for slightly less soundtrack-like music, I would have to cite Mark Knopfler and Yann Tiersen (OK, this IS quite soundtrack-y) as favorite musicians...
As far as movies go, a must-see is '12 Angry Men' - maybe not the best film I've ever watched, but one which you can enjoy no matter what mood you're in! Anything by Hitchcock is almost certainly good - at least, if you like old classics as I do!
Recently I've been delving into the realm of classic novels and have come to realise that they're classics for a reason. I would have to say that personal favourites are Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice. However almost anything sci-fi will appeal to me too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learnt how to fly and survive a crash as a passenger in a Ford Galaxy, coming out without the tiniest cut (although I have an ongoing back-ache as testament to this). Crashing a car into a roundabout at 70m/h (120k/h) should have left people severely injured or dead. Fortunately we all made it out safely and what was most inspiring was seeing several cars pull up almost instantly with people coming over to help us out - its always good to know there are people like that out there!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach, Learn, Share... Well, I can't claim any great knowledge of any one thing - I guess I'm pretty knowledgeable on the history of England, but that's about it! I've never found that teaching people things works if you try - the best way to share knowledge is simply by talking to people - interesting facts will always come out... trust me on that!
