Overview
About Me
Enjoy the challenge of trying to communicate with people of a different language. Find new cultures refreshing and eye opening, im addicted to new things.
Love the outdoors - camping, cycling and hiking through the country. Currently been solo hiking and bussing around the highlands and smaller isles. Been on Skye for two weeks.
Music is my number one passion. I play the guitar and a chance to jam with friends and strangers is never missed.
Beers and good conversation is always something to look forward to. Philosophy and history get me excited as much as interesting stories from new people.
Now a uni dropout looking for real life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've realised after years of travel thats for me it's the people you meet just as much as the places you go and see. People make stronger memories and can revolutionize your aspect on life overnight. And to me that is priceless.
I want to exchange stories and wisdom as well as make friends and connections with other like and open minded people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In summer 2019 I travelled to Srinigar, Kashmir, on a 27 hour bus with no suspension and sheer drops. On the way in I saw maybe 100 military trucks full of soldiers. I was aware it was an area of political tension, but hardly a warzone Spent a couple days there before heading to Lamayuru in Ladakh. When I arrived my signal didn't work and all the wifi was down. 2 days later when it came back on I read messages from family asking if I was safe. Srinigar had been locked down the day I left. There was rioting and violence and all tourists had to leave via a very expensive taxi. I had missed danger by the skin of my teeth. But in Leh, my next destination they celebrated in the streets after receiving some level on independence.
Teach, Learn, Share
My skills include Campcraft and Music mainly. I love thinking, maybe too much, and so discussing philosophy and ways to live always gets my attention.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My stories and ideas about life. I love to listen even more though, I want to learn and hear new things.
