Overview
About Me
I am half Jordanian and half Slovenian. I was born, raised and live in Jordan and have spent all my summer vacations as a kid in Slovenia and less so as an adult as I have chosen to visit different places in the world.
I am also vegan with a very particular diet that goes along with it.
I find people and different cultures fascinating. I love reading, traveling, the outdoors and sports. I practice and sometimes teach yoga.
I love volunteering teaching kids with mental disabilities yoga and find their love of the practice refreshing and empowering.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet members of a community who all share the same love of meeting new people and who love to share their love of their country. To learn of a culture through the eyes of its people.

Music, Movies, and Books
One of my favorite all time movies is "Gorillas in the Mist" and "Out of Africa". The "Green Book" as well, among others.
My favorite reads include " Steve Jobs", "Voices of Jordan", 'Queen of the Desert: The Extraordinary Life of Gertrude Bell", "Alamut", and "Shantaram" to name just a few.
I mostly like all music, but especially instrumentals.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trekking in Nepal was out of this world. I would definitely like to repeat that.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach breathing, meditation and yoga. I can also teach Arabic and English. I can share my knowledge of the two cultures I am lucky to share (Jordanian/Slovenian). I would love to learn about the hosts' cultures, maybe a little of their language and anything else they would be willing to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My knowledge and passion of yoga, meditation and breathing.
