Traveling is not about where you stay, but the people! I met great people out of hotels and sharing my stay with locals and other travelers that I think this is the best way of doing it. When I'll have my own place, I'd love to receive travelers at mine in order to help them enjoy the most of the city, like a local and not worrying about the accommodation budget.
