Hi! My names Dana, I'm 23 years old and am from BC, Canada.
I've been travelling for the last 6 months and am planning on continuing for the next couple years! Most of my travels are solo, meeting up sometimes with friends along the way. I've travelled quite frequently with my family (which is probably the cause of this travel bug), but this trip is my first time on my own and it's been amazing so far! I've been in Thailand, Malaysia and am currently in Japan. Next country is Australia for a year, then back to Thailand and the rest of SE Asia, back to Oz for another year and finally New Zealand (1 year as well). That's just what I have planned so far, I also intend to see South Africa, South America and the rest of Europe 😊

I love meeting new people and really immersing myself into everyday life of locals, hostels are great, but really being able to break out of the tourist mind set is the best thing I've done.

This past year I spent 4 months living on Koh Phangan, Thailand and volunteered at a clinic for stray animals. Loved it so much I'm going back next year 😊
