I'm an adventurous, fun and bubbly 30 year old who loves to have fun! I own my own business and am married to a fabulous Canadian husband who is a teacher and who also does his own leather work! We are new homeowners and have been enjoying our paddle boards on the lake near our home. I used to be a preschool teacher for 8 years and now I own my own business that promotes women's sexual health. I am a world traveler and absolutely love new experiences and finding hidden places that I can explore :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I went back packing around Europe in 2010 for 2 months with a good friend of mine and our entire trip we did couch surfing! We had the most incredible experience doing it and we met such wonderful people along the way. Now, My husband and I are traveling to New Zealand for a friends wedding in March and then we have a week and a half to travel! We would love to experience couch surfing together while we travel and meet people that can show us what their favorite thing about their city is. One of my favorite things about couch surfing is that the local are able to show you where they love to go and explore instead of being guided by all the touristy things! We are excited to explore some touristy things as well - but definitely would like some insight on fun places to explore from people who are local to the area.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Any music that I can dance to is best :) I enjoy most types of music, but 90's hip hop and pop are probably my faves.

Movies: Action, Comedy, Romantic Comedy, Adventure and Fantasy

Books: Since becoming a business owner - most of the books I read are professional development books, and I listen to tons of Audibles in my car too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone bungee jumping in Queenstown, New Zealand (even though I totally cried before I jumped!) and I definitely want to do it again! The hubby and I have also gone skydiving!

I also studied abroad in Australia for 6 months and it was one of my best life experiences yet!
