****Just returned to my home country after 17 years of traveling and living abroad. ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Dana, I am from the Czech Republic even though I haven't been home in a while. Digital nomad here and freelancer.

My whole adult life is full of adventure. UK, The States, NZ, Australia, Asia and it's not ending.... traveling is my passion.

I have a very bubbly happy personality with a very curious mind, funny sense of humor, love to travel and see new cultures and continents. I have always loved taking photographs. Love movies, books, meeting new people, hiking/tramping, camping and all outdoor stuff :) Like to browse through small villages, but the big, vast outdoors are always winning and calling my name :)

PHILOSOPHY

Meet as many interesting people as possible and see as much as your life will allow you :) Life is too short and I hate regretting something if I could have done it :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I can't host at the moment since I am a fellow traveler, but I think Couchsurfing is an excellent idea, I will host when I settle down for sure :) I love, LOVE meeting new people from around the world. I am visiting every available CS events and try to keep in touch with newcomers :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to this, would love to meet people from all over the world, I love hearing and sharing stories.

It's very rewarding to meet new people and get to know them. Share stories and knowledge. Great to hang out, create new memories and just be yourself.

Almost a year ago, I travelled the South Island of New Zealand for about 3 wks and stayed at some CS hosts and I gotta tell you, I met wonderful people, very kind and hospitable who made me feel very welcome and feel like home. I can't be happy enough to meet such a great ppl and be able to call them my friends now :)

I love all kids of movies , music and books...if I do not like something I do not waste my time on it... ;) hard to displease me....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just recently I had the chance to see the Milford Sound and amazing lakes and mountain ranges down south NZ, just a stunning piece of world.... probably I haven't seen as much, but had the chance to visit and travel and stay for a few months at the time in 45 states of the United States. Never regret that, seeing sunsets over mountains, get sunburned in the deserts, near death experience with a bear in Yosemite and many more great memories. Also, love British countryside, that can't compare to anything, I still have many travel goals and dreams and hopefully I will make it happen :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning sharing and anything. It's always a great experience to learn something new you never knew about or are interested in. Such a rewarding experience. I would love to make a difference in people after we meet.

I can share experiences from far and beyond... shared cup of coffee or a meal :) I am very friendly and chill person, easy to host :) I can share my cuisine with them and they can share theirs. I can share words from my country with theirs.
