Overview
About Me
I am Dana, student in The Hague, lover of good cooking, philosophy, folk and bluegrass music, nature, books, and much more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have couchsurfed (been a guest) myself, and I really enjoyed the experience. I hate the expression "locals", but couchsurfing is just so nice because it enables you to be among "locals", instead of being the tourist all the time. Plus, it's cheap! Moreover, I love meeting new people, hearing their stories and learning from their cultures. Enough reasons to love couchsurfing, I'd say :-)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: for the third time - folk music!
Movies: Intouchables, As It Is In Heaven, Juno, Little Miss Sunshine, Into the Wild...
Books: The Alchemist, Pippi, old Dutch literature, Harry Potter, Looking for Alaska, Paul Auster, anything philosophy-related
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've cycled from Amsterdam to Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer (in the south of France), and it was great! Just having nature as mere form of "entertainment" is so calming and nice... Met a lot of interesting people as well.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think I can learn from all people! I genuinely like hanging out with all sorts of people, as long as they're open(-minded), honest and respectful. I find that all people can and should learn from each other.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook quite well! Also, I can provide some music (I play the guitar and harmonica, and I sing). Furthermore, I think I can say that I am a pretty okay person to be with ;-)
