Hi there! Actually, it's been always challenging for me to describe myself shortly, but I'll try:

I'm a melomaniac, nature-lover, fond of travelling, yoga, volunteering, hiking, film photography, design, reading books, playing the piano and whatnot. I adore spontaneous things, simple food, weird jokes, sincerity, cozy and ambient places, people being themselves, feeling the sunshine, mountain wind and sea breeze on my skin, a symbiosis of craziness and calmness in my life.

I'm a pretty experienced traveller, I'd say - I've been to 20+ countries and don't intend to stop, on the contrary - I'd like to expand my list of visited countries and places as well as learn about various cultures. Most of my trips were organized so that I stayed in hotels/hostels/rented apartments or at my friends'. Guess it's much more interesting to explore new places and get to know different cultures by communicating and hanging out with locals :) I'm open to adventures and meeting people.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: I'm a melomaniac and have playlists for literally any occasion.
My favourite artists and bands are David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Nicolas Michaux, Radiohead, Gorillaz, The Smiths, RHCP, Alt-J, AnnenMayKantereit, and many others.
Among Ukrainian ones - Dakha Brakha, Dakh Daughters, Postman, Zwyntar, Blooms Corda, Ragapop, Kurs Valüt, OTOY... – you should definitely check them out if you haven't heard!

Books: mostly I prefer fiction and poetry, sometimes educational stuff and creative non-fiction.

Films: I like many different stuff, but my favourite one is 'The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'.
I've just registered on Letterboxd and gradually started adding all of the watched and liked, you can check the list out there (nickname - ensoleillante).

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Getting a car stopped for 8 passengers in 1 minute while hitchhiking.
Slimming in a mountain waterfall (its waters are year-round 4°C).
Hitchhiking 530 km in 5 hours.
Surviving in Ukraine - still in progress.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can tell you a lot about my trips, volunteering and working experience at music festivals or teach you some yoga asanas or how to play the piano. And, of course, share my time.
I might surely recommend some must-visits in Lviv and meet up wherever I can. Unfortunately, I'm not hosting people too often now (although in case of an emergency, I'll try my best to make something up).

I could talk about literally anything in the world or stay quiet if you want to. I respect personal space and boundaries, house rules and schedules. If I might be of help to you (shopping, cleaning, cooking etc) - I don't mind at all.
I can teach you some Ukrainian words and will be happy to raise your awareness about Ukraine or brief you on interesting and weird facts about our culture.
I might also show you several yoga asanas, cook vegetarian recipes and bring some sweets, coffee, drinks or postcards if you'd like to.
