About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore the southern US!
ABOUT ME
I've been traveling since December 2012, when I started my travels hitchhiking from Sydney to Cairns. I spent two more months in Melbourne where I met some awesome couch surfers, then finished off my trip in Australia working for six months in the outback. From October 2013 to July I had an awesome time traveling around 10 different countries in Asia and now that I'm back I'd like to see all that the States have to offer!
PHILOSOPHY
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
That and the golden rule: Don't be a jackass
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been traveling about for the past few years, but plan on hosting once I settle down.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met some awesome people surfing on couches in Melbourne, Australia and Osaka, Japan. Those people are always welcome on my (future) couch, and I hope to see them again! :)
Interests
I love anything that involves the outdoors. Hiking, swimming, snowboarding, tree climbing, slacklining, and pretty much any other outdoor activity you could think of.
As a big fan of traveling I've road tripped a good amount of the western half of the USA, hitchhiked the east coast of Australia and spent time in the NT, and I've been to ten different countries in Asia as well!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love hip-hop and some of my favorite rappers would include Nas, Wu Tang, Blackalicious, Eminem, Xzibit, Kendrick Lamar and Binary Star to name a few.
Some favorite movies would be American Beauty, On the Waterfront, Enter the Dragon (and every other martial arts film), Office Space, and Fight Club.
I mostly read non fiction books such as Subliminal, the Red Queen, Free Will, A Brief History of Time, and Why Everyone Else is a Hypocrite. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest would have to be my favorite fiction though, that book is amazing!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Grand Canyon, Bagan in Myanmar, temples in Kyoto & Nara Japan, 500km motorbike trip in N Thailand, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, to name a few.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help improve swimming abilities (was a swim instructor for a few years and I swam competitively) know some basic boxing/kickboxing moves, and I can help anyone interested in learning beginning Japanese.
