ABOUT ME

I studied languages because I wanted to be able to communicate with as many people possible! This made me move from grey Belgum to sunny Spain where I have been living since 2004. I love nature and after 6 years in Barcelona City i needed to take some air, literally.. I moved to the Collserola area which is a very green mountain area just behind the city. I just love to wake up and listen to the birds singing! I'm crazy about traveling and apart from the trips in Europe I backpacked through Nepal and India for a couple of months. I also went backpacking through the South of Mozambique for a couple of weeks. I became a yoga teacher because I really believe yoga is a great way of life in the stressful western society .. I also love music and love to dance.
I feel that CouchSurfing is a really great way to explore the world and a good opportunity to share time with local people of the same mindset.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I occasionally meet up with couchsurfing members who travel through Barcelona to give them advice about what to see in my city but unfortunately i am not able to host because my partner does not feel the same way as i do about Couchsurfing. As a guest I CS in Menorca for one night, which was a really nice experience!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I think the most amazing thing I saw were the billion shining stars and the milky way when I spent 2 nights in the Indian dessert close to the Pakistan border. That and the Bazaruto 'PARADISE' islands in Mozambique.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I was suffering from knee and back pain for over 7 years. I truly believed i would be in a wheel chair by the time i was 40 orso. After walking on the path of massage therapy, yoga and meditation for many years, I can finally walk and dance without pain! I know it sounds like some silly tv ad but from my experience I can truly believe and say that if we really want we can heal ourselves from deep within
