Overview
About Me
** Most of our references and Verified Status is on my boyfriends account https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/adamven **
We are also going to be traveling this September so we won't be able to host during that time.
CURRENT MISSION
Travel to as many places as I can, experience new cultures and food, and make some new friends.
ABOUT ME
I'm friendly and I enjoy meeting new people.
I have a lot of hobbies, that I cycle through when I get creative, which can be anything from painting, drawing (paper&digital), cosplay, and interior design. Balancing with lesser creative hobbies like reading, board/video games, Netflix/Youtube bingeing and contemplating what I'm doing with my life.
PHILOSOPHY
Do the best you can, since every step you take is more than yesterday.
Don't trip over the rocks behind you (always look forward instead of dwelling on past mistakes)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My boyfriend (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/adamven) and I have surfed a couple of couches with wonderful hosts, and they are all welcome to stay on ours :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We did a backpacking trip a number of years ago, and we were able to meet so many new people and better our experience with the hosts we met. That we wanted to return the favor and see what the other side of Couchsurfing was like. We always made sure we either brought gifts for the hosts we stayed with or bought them dinner since they were always very generous opening their homes to us and providing us with an insiders look to their cities.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Memoirs of a Geisha, Pygmalion, The Sound of Music, Shogun, Gone Girl, Marvel movies, anything from studio Ghibli, Rocky Horror, etc.
Music: Ranges too much to pin anything down
Books: Sherrilyn Kenyon series and I have a newfound book list I hope to tackle.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I started Cosplaying, I did a bunch of research on how to do it "the right way". After only about 6 months of cosplaying, I decided to make an original character costume. I designed a Valkyrie and made each piece by hand with the help of my friends and family to encourage me and assist in the "hard for one person to handle" tasks.
I finished it and got 3rd place in the armor category at the Western Championships of Cosplay at the ECCC Seattle Convention in 2016. Considering the level of skill that went into my competitor's costumes I was so happy and amazed to be considered one of them.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love sharing any experiences that my hosts would be interested in. Since my boyfriend and I travel together we have many stories to tell. We also like bringing gifts for our hosts, and when we don't have anything we usually like to go for drinks/ dinner with our hosts if they have time.
