About Me

Hello,
I am a cheerful and curious young woman, greedy for learning new things, meeting interesting people and putting the world to rights with friends !
I love music. If you play any instrument, it would be a real pleasure to listen to you and maybe to play a little with you ! (I practice piano and singing). I also like to play tabletop and video games.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A good way to travel and meet people from all around the world.
I never couchsurfed yet, and do not have a home where I can host for the moment, but I am looking forward to trying it !

Interests

Music (every kind from classical to heavy metal). I'm a keen listener and performer, and I'm starting composition.
Humanities and social sciences : economics, history, philosophy, politics, and so on...
Languages (including poetry), playing with words, exploring their galaxies.
Drama and roleplaying.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books :
Cyrano de Bergerac, Edmond de Rostand.
Les Fleurs du Mal (The Flowers of Evil), Baudelaire.

Music :
Classical (russian music, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff and fellows ; operas ; Dvorak, Prokofiev, Sibelius, Liszt, Chopin), metal (power, folk, pirate, viking, symphonic, melodic...), and touches of pop-rock, swing, jazz, spirituals, blues... (Quite eclectic, I admit.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living for a year in Australia, 16000 km far from home, to play and learn about music and drama, the complete opposite of my current studies. Because it sounded amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

*As I have a nice musical culture now, I'd be very happy to play and teach about the piano, music history and theory.
*Always happy to have a nice chat about economics, French History, and political issues.
*Of course, I can teach some French, and dissert for hours about the bounds between French and English languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make special French crêpes and quiches. With cinnamon and / or rum. (Delicious, I promise.)

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Morocco, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, France
