About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be mindful & build community
ABOUT ME
I'm my best self when I travel: I don't like change but am somehow drawn to it. I'm inquisitive, reflective, and love puns.
I've studied comparative religion, international relations and systemic causes of poverty, domestic violence and homelessness. I'm passionate about social justice.
I love to be outdoors: walking, biking, reading, eating. All the better to do these things with friends & family!
PHILOSOPHY
In order to change the world you just have to show up, and keep showing up. No heroism required.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed once, in Spain, with my best friend, a couchsurging veteran. We had a blast, and I decided to sign up in anticipation of another trip to Europe.
I have lots of experience with Airbnb & hostels and like to meet local hosts who can speak to the true culture of a place.
Interests
pottery, social enterprise, microfinance, collecting unique spoons, biking, reading and my book club, eating foods from the farm I work for in the summer, yoga, watching theater and dance, pie
