I choose to drown myself

I love talking to people I hardly know. I truly believe that a great conversation is one of the key components to having an invigorating life. I'm always keen to learn and discover more about myself and other people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

How about a few?

I have seen a 3 year old girl with blonde hair playing with children with skin 10 times darker than hers, but with the same soil covering their clothes and the same toothy grins filled with joy.
I have seen the sun retreat behind the horizon of limestone karsts and taking a dip into the Mekong river after smearing the sky with warm amber tones.
I have travelled deep into a jungle on the back of a motorbike with a guide who I entrusted my life with, just to find a hidden elephant statue that was 1200 years old.
I have sat at the bottom of a waterfall with my legs crossed and my eyes closed, emptying out my mind.
The first time I sat on a horse, I was brought up the mountains and made to cross rivers.
I have fed stray cats coconuts while listening to a single mother tell me her stories of breastfeeding while travelling.
I have chewed on crickets and found them to be a great snack.
I have wandered into a cafe alone only to leave with the stories from a stranger who travelled from Vienna to Thailand on the back of a motorbike with a guy he made friends with from a bar.
I have seen the sparkle in the eyes of a child with torn clothes and dirty hair after accepting a pen that I handed to her while i cycled around the island.
