I'm a 21 year old advertising student at the university of Illinois Urbana-Champaign! Last summer I stepped out of my comfort zone and moved across the country from Chicago to NYC, and spent a semester abroad in Belgium when I was able to visit 12 other countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This semester, I'm be studying abroad in the beautiful city of Leuven, Belgium. This is the first time I've ever left the states and my main goal while I'm abroad is to as many places as possible in these short months. I love exploring new cities and meeting locals!

Interests

I keep a journal and when you see me on my phone im probably reading an Ebook (or a travel blog) I'm studying advertising and know a lot about the process and how it all works if your interested I could talk for hours. I had a pet rabbit for 10 years and have a soft spot for all things cute and cuddly and if you have a pet I will love it like my own! I love taking good photos and am mildly addicted to Coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Fantasy, Mystery, thriller, and memoirs. Always reading an ebook on my travels.

Currently Reading:

Music: Spotify is bae. Like acoustic, indie and alternative. although pop, edm and classic rock can get me going.

movies and shows: I really don't think I could live without Netflix. I grew up watching movies with my family every night and i love getting wrapped up in a new world through TV.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did an amazing hike in Custer State National Park in SD, USA the summer after my last year of high school. I was on a church trip and one of our guides took us at midnight to the state park, we snuck in around 2am and hiked with flashlights for about 2 hours to watch the sunrise over the mountains. It was a breathtaking view and an amazing experience. I've been seeking out more beautiful sunrises ever since.
