About Me
CURRENT MISSION
No mission. Only avocados.
ABOUT ME
I do yoga and acro yoga, piano and poetry, languages and math, and I travel. I don't think I know how not to smile. Life is always fun! I like cool pants. My favorite form of transportation is trains, especially with giant windows. I still like hide and seek and sand castles and tree houses. I always go swimming. I sing in the shower and play in the rain. I love animals--cats, zebras, wombats, elephants, bearcats, zookeepers. I don't chew gum, but I would definitely blow bubbles if I did. Apprenticeships are cool. I don't know how I would survive without cheese. Thank god for cows! (Although I heard camel milk is really good)
PHILOSOPHY
Happiness is a chocolate bar.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've stayed with acro yogis in Philadelphia, PA and Portland, OR for acro workshops, and I got to eat fantastic food ("Are you vegan?" "Are you gluten free?") and ride a motorcycle and play a super ratty piano with some of the awesomest people in the world (there are a lot of those). I am new to couch surfing, but I'm excited for more opportunities to travel and meet cool people.
Interests
I love art in every form: books and poetry and the way languages sound and sculpture and architecture and mountains and hiking and painting and music and music and music and the way bodies move doing yoga and flying in acro and a perfect cup of tea, messy physics, nano particles, and math.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading anything that's good, especially poetry and short novels. My favorite book right now is Down the Rabbit Hole by Juan Pablo Villanobos ("Intellectuals know everything about books and nothing about life").
As for music...I love most of it. I listen to everything from Joni Mitchell to Wayne Shorter to Liszt. Right now, anything with a harmonica is the best!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed two nights on a boma in Kenya with the Maasai chief, Martha. We had some pretty cool chats, I milked some cows, I watched a cow give birth, herded goats, spent hours trying to peel potatoes, cooked, tried to talk to the kids in Swahili...I love the boma community.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a yoga teacher; I could tell you about anatomy and the way motion affects your body for hours if you get me started! (I can also teach yoga and a little acro yoga, too)
