About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make a life abroad!
ABOUT ME
Bonjour! I'm from Texas but living in the north of France at the moment as an English assistant at a French high school. It's cold.
I'm independent, easy-going, fun, pensive, like to laugh and exchange good stories while making new ones. I love books and riding trains and live concerts (the small, intimate ones are the best!), and I love eating haha. Still working on learning how to cook though.
I'm curious, but I'm probably more likely to go find out about it than sit back and wonder. Which is not something I could say merely a couple of years ago. I welcome change. I'm also always doing something, or multiple things at the same time. =)
CouchSurfing is awesome because I've gotten to meet some really cool people and learn first-hand about their countries and cultures.
This year abroad has shown me so many cool things and revealed all kinds of people. I'm also learning a lot about myself and developing a stronger identity as an American.
PHILOSOPHY
Know what you want and go after it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just had my first couchsurfing experience with a wonderful host in Riga, Latvia! This is really the best way to get to know a city and its people!
Interests
I like to read and write and I love to play and listen to music. Paris's La Blogothèque is a great source of new music- check it out, indie folks: http://www.blogotheque.net/
Played a lot of piano when I was younger, and kind of self-taught the guitar. Wanna learn the drums and the violin!
