We prefer surfers from outside the US. For 1-3 days (1-2 nights), maybe longer depending on the circumstances. That doesn't mean we won't host Americans - but we have heard about you guys! ;) Same rules apply to you!

We live on the peninsula - halfway between San Francisco and San Jose. 30 minutes by car, either way, train takes a little longer. Redwood City is a great town - always something going on.

We are super easy going. - like meeting adventurous, interesting people.

We have a modest 2 bedroom 1.5 bath house in a typical neighborhood that is great for walking at night. Even have a small chicken run in the backyard with 6 chickens and 2 ducks. Hope you like eggs for breakfast.

NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE - but we spend 90% of our time outside because the weather is so awesome in Redwood City (RWC) and you are welcomed to smoke outside.

Loved the concept when I first read about it. You'll notice that we signed up in 2009 and 10 years later have never used the service. The wife and I agreed that now is the time to start!

If you visit us - assume you are family. Put your dishes in the dishwasher, refill the ice tray, change the toilet paper roll. You know where the extra blankets are, don't eat the last of the ice cream.

As of 2019 my wife and I are both 50 but don't let that fool you. We are very active. We have traveled the world, we want to hear your stories and share ours.
