About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel half-way around the world, learning as much as possible, taking photos, opening my mind...
ABOUT ME
Hello!!
I'm currently travelling around the world - something i've wanted to do since I was 12 years old. i'm fascinated by Russia and intrigued by Japan but happy to travel all over and see new things, enjoy new experiences.
I love adventure, creativity, languages (especially Russian!), photography and meeting new, interesting people..
I could probably eat my own body weight in blueberries. i LOVE THEM! why, oh why, are they so expensive?!
PHILOSOPHY
A dear friend of mine made me a birthday card.On the front see have written:
"Life shrinks and expands in proportion to one's courage"
this has become my motto.
Interests
photography is my current obsession. not as good as i'd like to be but travelling is good practice and there's LOTS of take snaps of. Haven't gone didgital yet... am a sucker for old school film.
I would love to be able to speak 5 languages fluently.

Music, Movies, and Books
love reading books. very partial to russian literature and bizarre dystopia literature. bulgakov is a favourite. also love james joyce, "life of pi", "the golden gate", "1984" and "clockwork orange".
music tastes vary depending on mood but mostly chilled out acoustic guitar stuff, folk music, world music. that kind of stuff... but will dance to basically anything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skinny dipping in Lake Baikal. Cold!! But Lake Baikal is the most beautiful place i have ever seen... and I love to swim. Watching the sunset over the lake is so wonderful...
Teach, Learn, Share
can juggle many things: balls, rings, bottles, fire (although very out of practice!!) and food...
