One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a goldfish, his name was Avigdor. When winter came I covered his tank with warm kitchen towels so he stays warm. Years passed by and he was all grown up, ready to learn all about the big world and then forget it three seconds later.
On a non-particularly-special day, Avigdor was found dead on the floor. The policeman wrote in his report - "died under mysterious circumstances".
looking at the spot his tank used to stand, I was staring right at Change's elusive eyes. non of this matters, i thought. because now I sit here and write to you and can hardly reminisce the shape of the fish.
