Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've couchsurfed in France and Japan. I've hosted a few times and it was nice. I surfed quite a lot through the USA and I loved all of my experiences! I met some amazing people and love love love the opportunities this community gives to everyone involved.

I am a great fan of couch surfing because there is no better way to discover a city through the eyes of a local. I think guests can sometimes inspire people to explore their own hometowns also. I love meeting people and learning about people and their lives, and although I am travelling solo, I am never alone!

Interests

Being happy is of interest to me and I do that by exploration of places and meeting new people, laughter, reading and writing, listening to music and the pursuit of the inordinary.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most types of music, but I really enjoy electropop, 80s music, disco and piano. Some highlights are La Roux and Kygo remixes.

I'll watch virtually any film and maybe enjoy it. Personal favourites included Les Triplettes de Belleville, Predestination, Snowpiercer and Death Becomes Her.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding camels into the Sahara followed by communal eating, music and dancing around a fire pit!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm interested in learning about new countries, photography technique and any new skills that might be thrown my way!

As for teaching you something, I can teach you very basic Korean as well as how to see the silver lining - there really is always one!
