ABOUT ME

Theatre has the power to unite, communicate, connect, give voice to the voiceless, educate, and probe. Using theatre as a tool in this way is something I am currently pursuing in my professional career. My lifelong intrigue with theatre has stretched far beyond my own cultural and personal background. Through my experience studying theatre abroad, establishing a socially active theatre ensemble and my oral history research projects, I understand how the transformational capacity of theatre transcends the single performance. This has piqued my interest in using theatre as a means to facilitate educational outreach and community development.

I love to dance for fun. Maybe have a dance off or two, if the challenge arises. But don't be scared, I am just a fun-loving easy going person that wants to meet people and have funny interactions.

I am from Chicago which is the best city in the States. If anyone says otherwise, they are lying. I was born there so I may be a little biased (just a little). I went to Beloit College in Wisconsin which is a really fun school with lots of dance parties. Most of my friends are from all over the world. That was the first time where I had the chance to be introduced to so many cultures.

I was studied in Budapest, Hungary and Dublin, Ireland where I studied theater.

PHILOSOPHY

I live life without regrets, for the most part. I live in the moment. I live to build solid relationships. I live to love.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I go to CS events. When I was living in Chicago, I hosted a little and now I am trying to meet other travelers and surf some couches.

It has been really wonderful. There is just something about travelers that I love.

Theater, Dance, cooking, social action, traveling, music, learning Spanish. I love exploring traditional performative art around the world whether is be dance, singing, puppetry or theatre. I love finding sustainable communities that are exploring new ways of living.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spent the last month in Morocco. I was traveling with an amazingly wonderful Australian women and we saw the beauty of people and Moroccan culture. We traveled in to the Sahara, singing songs and climbing dunes. I want to find other travelers that want to explore countries in Asia.

Now as I am traveling, I am getting deep into arts and crafts. I make jewelry and postcards as I travel. I paint drawings to remember where I have been. I either give them away or keep them for memory. I also am a beginner fire poi spinner.
