My name is Jasper Lu, an enthusiastic creator. Currently, I am doing an exchange in Gent, Belgium. And I will go back to my school in Bergen, Norway to finish my study after this summer.

I am from Taiwan, a beautiful and multicultural island in Asia. I have always participated in cultural and artistic activities, thus I choose Architecture as my major in college.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a kind of travelling way touching the local lifestyle the most deeply. I believe, if you want to know a city well, you have to walk into it, and then meet a person who can bring you to join his or her daily life. Chat trivia, share mutual interests and discuss individual perspectives. It's very charming having this kind of experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1.Participating the movie project "Silence"

I have joined Martin Scorsese's "Silence" film crew to make film sets. It is an international team and I learned a lot about cooperation and professional skills. Also, quite cool I can work with a bunch of famous actors and actress, both from western and eastern.

2.My presentation in Graduation Project

Every student in design fields must have a sparkling time during their presentation. In the last year of my college, I explored the Alishan Railway, famous landscape in Taiwan. It's like a trip in the dark, at the end of the day, I see the sunrise finally. My thoughts were spread out, my works were revealed in everyone's eyes, and my attitude was remembered.

3. When I am alone backpacking abroad

Traveling alone is my creed in any case. Only by myself can I truly feel my sturdy mind. In my trip to Shanghai, I struggle with any possible problem. At that time, I realize I can put myself into higher stone. Every time I remind of that guy in Shanghai, I am very impressive and amazing. I love myself in any alone trip, who is really brave and glamorous.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach
I can teach Mandarin and the culture of Taiwan. Besides, I can tell you how people, who majoring in Architecture or Design, see this world. Our way to reveal our thought is the best part I enjoy, like drawing, model-making, presentation...etc.

Learn
I am eager to be a person who you might meet in the alley. I'd like to catch the more local atmosphere, similarly, the lifestyle. I am very open to anything.
